Or you could visit the state’s website that would have the record. If you know what state the event happenned in, print out some forms, make sure you have photocopies of your ID, pay a fee and wait a couple of weeks for your record. All you need basically is a last name and approximate age of the person you are obtaining the record of. A full name and approximate date of the event would be better though if you have that information.
